Wie der Titel vermuten läßt, besteht dieses Buch fast ausschließlich aus Zitaten von Mr. Gabriel himself, die der Autor zusammengestellt und in chronologische Reihenfolge gebracht hat. So kann man die Karriere des Ex-Genesis-Sängers von Anfang an verfolgen. Das ist durchaus lesenswert, bringt aber für Fans wenig wirklich Neues. Ganz interessant ist das Bildmaterial, hier sieht man doch einiges, was man sonst nirgends findet, auch ein paar sehr schöne Aufnahmen aus Genesis-Zeiten.

Spannend zu lesen sind die Kommentare zu verschiedenen Songs (Genesis und solo), die in chronologischer Reihenfolge zitiert werden und so eine (für "Unwissende") doch recht erhellende Lektüre darstellen, wonach man unter Umständen die Songs mit ganz anderen Ohren hören wird.

In Anbetracht dessen, dass es nicht so wahnsinnig viele Bücher gibt, die sich in erster Linie mit Gabriel befassen, definitiv lohnenswert!
